ETH Remote Access

The ETH dialup system is available at a shared rate to all
students and employees at the ETH.

The new homepage for Dialup services - http://n.ethz.ch/

Direct link to the website where you can change your password and personal info. (You need to know your Netz username and password first.)

Full instructions for how to configure your dialup connection, for all operating systems. Keep in mind that you will need to pick the appropriate phone number, depending on if you have toll-free or regular access. Only in Deutsch.

Some answers to frequently asked questions:

1. What the hell is my Netz login and password?! If you don't know or don't remember, you will need to go to http://n.ethz.ch/cgi-bin/pw_request/spw.cgi and request a new password (make sure to enter a different email address than the one you are resetting!). If this doesn't work, then contact the administrators at hotline@student.ethz.ch and ask them to reset it and tell you what login and password you are supposed to use. The test is to login to https://n.ethz.ch/cgi-bin/admin_tool/main.cgi and change your dialup password. (You can also change your other passwords if you need to.) If your email suddenly stops working, don't be surprised if it turns out they reset all of your passwords.
